What I do

My mission and curiosity have led me to work on Augmentation technologies and Human-AI symbiosis. My past projects span memory, decision-making, affect, mental health, learning, and brain-computer interfaces.

I co-founded and lead the Augmentation Lab, a transdisciplinary R&D community of philosopher-builders creating human enhancement technologies.

I am currently a graduate student at the Fluid Interfaces group under Prof. Pattie Maes at the MIT Media Lab. My research focuses on 1) personal AI, human digital twins, and wearables, and 2) AI-BCI systems.

Moreover, I’m interested in
advancing science with AI,
biomimetic engineering, soft robotics, and biomaterials.

What I’ve done

Previously, I co-wrote the Builder’s Guide to the Tech Galaxy, a handbook on scaling up startups to unicorns. I also co-led the Student Forum of the Toenissteiner Kreis, the young division of a German international dialogue forum that brings together leaders from academia, business, and politics.

My earlier backgrounds are in bioinformatics and neuroscience, and I explored topics in economics, business, and international relations. I completed my BSc at University College London (UCL) and am currently pursuing graduate studies at the University of Leipzig and MIT.
