FUTURISTIC TRAIN TERMINALS FOR THE BELT AND ROAD INITIATIVE

CASE STUDY FOR THE 1ST EU-RUSSIA STUDENT CONFERENCE
MOSCOW, 2019

As I explored policy, I participated the first EU-Russia student conference in Moscow. The month in advance, I worked on a consulting case study with the Austrian Rail Cargo Group to design a terminal for the Belt-and-Road Initiative. The conference continued and concluded our case study, and we presented our recommendations to representatives from the RCG.

As a science major and by far youngest person at the conference (I was 19), the whole experience was transformative. It introduced me to international policy with Russia and Eastern Europe, business-policy integration, and collaborating with teams across countries and cultures consulting-style.
